Rope skipping This exercise is widely used by almost everybody who is overweight to burn calories. It’s a full body workout that can give results in a short time. Beginners are advised to buy beaded jump rope as they are slow and durable. Start with the rope behind your back and turn it over the head and jump when it reaches your feet. Do this for about 10 minutes before you can take a rest.
Modified Press up Modified press up is the best to start with. It may be impossible to do the full press-up due to the weight on your body. You can modify and press against a table or a chair. If this still proves hard, you can then do it against the wall which will be a bit easy.
Stair climbing This is the most effective whole-body workout for shedding off some fat and good for the heart. The best way to do this is to start from the bottom of the stairs and sprint up. Walk down the stairs slowly as you catch your breath. Repeat this until you are exhausted and you can’t do more.
Chair squats This is also a good body exercise to shed off some body fats particularly on the thighs. Take a chair and stand in front of it with your hands behind your head. Keep your back straight and push your hips back till it touches the seat then move up to standing. Repeat this process until you can’t do anymore.
